The main functions of :milliarium:

  • Project management: You constantly have a complete overview of all tasks and appointments, including reminder function.
  • Document management: :milliarium is the central project archive (contracts, guidelines, Deliverables, publications, etc.) for all project partners.
  • Finance management: All important financial reports, according to the guidelines of the EC are created directly on a button. This already works in the proposal phase.
  • Directory: You have constant access to all email addresses, mail groups and telephone numbers of your project partners.

1. Project management:

:milliarium acts as a "project memory" and as a central archive at the same time. All milestones, deliverables and tasks are stored with the respective start and end dates, in the same structure as in the Technical Annex, sorted by workpackages. Once a milestone is completed, the status is amended by the responsible person. This way, all participants can gain information on the current status of the project. Lists and summary tables can be easily generated via various sorting criteria.

2. Writing a proposal

When writing a proposal, :milliarium already supports you significantly as all necessary table are generated automatically. :milliarium accesses all stored information regarding the project and the partners and based on this, generates error-free tables and charts. Consequently, the cumbersome to manage, merge and format Excel spreadsheets no longer applies.

3. Finance management

The incurred costs of a project (no matter in what currency) are entered in the Finance section of :milliarium via simple input masks. The financial guidelines regarding tax, cost models, direct and indirect costs, etc are stored and are automatically included in the calculations. Consequently, the funding of a cost item can immediately be seen. On a further note, you can also continuously monitor the budget. Diverse financial forms, e.g. the Form C, the Summary Financial Reports, or pre-filled elements for the report can be downloaded by a mouse click which saves a great deal of time. :milliarium also guarantees for financial calculations being carried out correctly and forms being filled in accurately.

4. Directory

Telephone numbers and email addresses of all project participants are stored in :milliarium. At the same time, any information on your project partners, their location and theresearchers contributing to your project can be accessed easily. Time-consuming searches for contact details therefore are no longer necessary.
