The offices of GABO are located in the centre of Munich, close to ODEONSPLATZ, to the quarter of museums, and in vicinity of the main universities (LMU and TUM).

Transport connection

You can reach us by suburban train: lines U3/U6 and lines U4/U5. They all stop at ODEONSPLATZ.
Alternatively by bus: take line 100 "Museumslinie" and get off at VON-DER-TANN-STRASSE

From Munich Airport

Take the S-Bahn, either S1 or S8, to MARIENPLATZ. Here change into the suburban line, the U-Bahn. Either take U3 direction Olympiazentrum, or U6 direction Garching Hochbrück, to the next stop ODEONSPLATZ. Get off here and follow the direction Galeriestraße. On LUDWIGSTRASSE walk straight on in the direction of the University/Siegestor until you reach the OSKAR-VON-MILLER-RING. Turn left and cross the road. After about 300m you will find house number 29 (road becomes narrower here).

From Munich Central Station

Take the U-Bahn, the suburban line U4 direction Arabellapark, or U5 direction Innsbrucker Ring. Get off at ODEONSPLATZ. Follow the direction Galeriestraße. On LUDWIGSTRASSE walk straight on in the direction of the University and the Siegestor until you reach the OSKAR-VON-MILLER-RING. Turn left and cross the road. After about 300m you will find house number 29 (road becomes narrower here).

Approach by private car

Unfortunately, there is no parking available.

From the direction of "Stuttgart" (A8):

Follow the A8 in the direction of MÜNCHEN. Stay right for the A99 via EXIT 79 toward A8/SALZBURG/MÜNCHEN-OST/MESSE/ICM/A92/DEGGENDORF/FLUGHAFEN M/A9/NÜRNBERG. Take the B304 exit, EXIT 10, toward MÜNCHEN-LUDWIGSFELD/MÜNCHEN-ZENTRUM/DACHAU. Turn right onto B304. Turn right onto DACHAUER STRASSE. Turn right onto SANDSTRASSE. Turn slightly left onto JOSEF-RUEDERER-STRASSE. Turn slightly right onto GABELSBERGERSTRASSE. Stay right where the roads forks to stay on GABELSBERGERSTRASSE. Go straight onto OSKAR-VON-MILLER-RING. Avoind going into the tunnel! Turn left to stay on OSKAR-VON-MILLER-RING. Do a U-turn at the next traffic light to get on th oposite direction of the road. Number 29 is on your right hand side.

From the direction of "Nuernberg" (A9):

Approaching MÜNCHEN on the A9 merge onto B2R/MITTLERER RING/SCHENKENDORFSTRASSE. Take the A9/B2 slip road toward NÜRNBERG/FLUGHAFEN/LANDSHUT. Merge onto SCHENKENDORFSTRASSE. Turn RIGHT onto UNGERERSTRASSE. Turn LEFT onto LEOPOLDSTRASSE. LEOPOLDSTRASSE becomes LUDWIGSTRASSE. Turn RIGHT onto OSKAR-VON-MILLER-RING. Number 29 is on your right hand side.

From the direction of "Salzburg" (A8):

Approaching MÜNCHEN on the A8 stay straight to go onto ROSENHEIMER STRASSE. Turn left to stay on ROSENHEIMER STRASSE. ROSENHEIMER STRASSE becomes LUDWIGSBRÜCKE. LUDWIGSBRÜCKE becomes ZWEIBRÜCKENSTRASSE. ZWEIBRÜCKENSTRASSE becomes ISARTORPLATZ. Turn slightly right onto THOMAS-WIMMER-RING. THOMAS-WIMMER-RING becomes KARL-SCHARNAGL-RING. Turn slightly right onto FRANZ-JOSEF-STRAUSS-RING. Turn slightly right onto VON-DER-TANN-STRASSE. Stay right where the roads forks to stay on VON-DER-TANN-STRASSE. VON-DER-TANN-STRASSE becomes OSKAR-VON-MILLER-RING. Number 29 is on your right hand side.
