Success criteria

It is not only the scientific quality that decides whether a proposal succeeds or not. The following requirements have to be taken into account as well:

• Scientific excellence and innovation
• Consistency with political goals of the EU and the Health Programme
• Demonstration of a consistent management and European Added Value for patients and consumers
• Compliance of numerous formal criteria

Applicants in the Health Programme of the EAHC can access the Guide for Applicants online. Independent from the topics, this Guide gives a structure for the proposal.

Evaluation Criteria

The following criteria are decisive for the success of a proposal:

Structure of the proposal

The proposal documents have to be sent to the EAHC by mail within the set deadline in the Call. The proposal consists of the following chapters:

• Section 1 – Information on partners
  
• Section 2 – Specification of the proposal
  
• Section 3 – Scientific aspects of the project
• Section 4 – Politics and contextual relevance
• Section 5 – Management of the project
• Section 6 – Description of the workpackages
• Section 7 – Finance management
• Section 8 – Participation in EU funded projects
• Section 9 – Financial independence
• Confirmation of validation
• Statutory declaration
• Mandatory checklist
